United States citizens that are enrolled or accepted to be enrolled for the fall 2007 semester at a member institution are eligible to apply for a $40,000 scholarship to either complete their four-year degree or continue on to graduate school. HP Scholars Scholarship Seeks to recognize graduating underrepresented minority (African American, Latino or American Indian) high school seniors and community college transfer students who wish to pursue a bachelor of science degree in computer science, computer engineering or electrical engineering. Students selected for the program are awarded a $12,000 scholarship (maximum of $3,000 per year), which is intended to help defray educational expenses such as tuition, books, fees, etc. Each HP Scholar also receives an HP Scholar Productivity Package (computer, PDA and printer). NASA MUST Scholarship Program. Students enrolled or attending college pursuing careers in Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) discipline at a college or university that is accredited in the United States are eligible for the MUST funding opportunity. Students of all underrepresented groups (Women, African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Native Americans and persons with disabilities) are encouraged to apply. Each year, the MUST Program will support approximately 100 undergraduate students with a one-year competitive scholarship of up to one-half of tuition, not to exceed $10,000. Program participants will also receive a $5,000 stipend to participate in a summer research experience at a NASA center. Students will benefit year-round from tutoring, lecture series and mentoring from STEM faculty and peers. PacifiCare Foundation-Latino Health Scholars Program bilingual students who choose to work in the health professions The PacifiCare Latino Health Scholars Program is designed to increase the number of bilingual students who choose to work in the health professions. PacifiCare grants 25 scholarships of $2000 each to high school seniors entering community college, university, or an accredited technical college majoring in one of the approved health care programs, including nursing, medical interpretation, and public health. The scholarships are funded by the PacifiCare Foundation and allocated in the following states: California (10), Texas (5), Arizona (3), Colorado (2), Nevada (2), Oklahoma (1), Washington (1), and Oregon (1).
